Hoorah for the first post of our blog!
Since it's the beginning of July, I'm starting a new workout routine. During May and June, I focused on gaining overall strength by following a fully body lifting routine. It's now time to start specializing my lifting.

Of course, I haven't put that together yet :) But I plan on posting my daily routines.
But! I do have a good thing to share. The only resource for training I could really find on USA hockey is this stick handling program.
I try to do stick handling and agility in between my lifting days, and have seen a significant improvement from following this. Specifically the drill with the PVC pipe has really stepped up my ability to navigate around defenders with the puck.
